Camiño Miñoto – Ribeiro
The Camiño Miñoto Ribeiro is one of the oldest routes linking the north of Portugal with Santiago de Compostela. It starts in Braga and has a total length of 173.7 km. It crosses the municipality of Forcarei in a south-east-north-west direction. This section is approximately 25 km long and has no directional or identification signs. Along its route there are several natural and cultural tourist resources, among which are: archaeological resources such as the “mámoas”, churches and “cruceiros” such as Ventoxo or Meavía, the Ponte de Gomail, the Quintillán weir, the old Rosalía de Castro school or the Carballeira and San Amaro Chapel.
