Forcarei is a green paradise, where vegetation, water and sky come together to offer the visitor an unforgettable experience.

Nature is one of the most unique attractions of the municipality, more than 2,190 hectares of wooded area, most of which is made up of autochthonous hardwood species such as oak and chestnut.

The environment is favoured by the presence of several protected areas:  the area that includes the Lagoa Sagra and the wetlands or brañas de Xestoso, the Serra do Candán, in which the Val de  Grobas stands out, and a portion of the Serra do Cando.
