When you access this page you are entering the Town Council of Forcarei where we want the doors always remain open to meet the demands of the neighbourhood. Here you can find the services provided in this council, the reference regulations for municipal procedures, the programmes that are being developed in each area of government and different information related to our territory, our heritage and our tourist resources.

We are aware that the Administration must keep up with an increasingly technologically advanced society that demands greater levels of transparency. For this reason, this website is designed to facilitate the relationship between citizens and the local administration. Through the e-Government section you can carry out different procedures and formalities online. You can also contact us to request information, or to communicate your complaints, suggestions and/or incidents.

Through this space we also want to show the reality of our town council. A council formed by 13 parishes that treasures centuries of history and a story that you can find in the archaeological sites, in the mosteiro de Aciveiro, in the medieval bridges over which the “arrieiros” used to walk, in the neveiras de Fixó or in the footprints of very important people of the 20th century such as the Gaiteiro de Soutelo de Montes or Chano Piñeiro among others.

We are also a council that develops an important industrial activity as a result of the territorial commitment and the entrepreneurial vocation of our neighbours and we want, through this website, to make you all participate in an innovative, dynamic and open to the world municipality project.
