Continental wetland with a surface area of 1077 ha. In this area, the Lagoa de Sacra de Olives and the habitats of “turbeiras” and wet “queirogais” stand out. In lesser extension there are also oak forest habitats. It stands out for its ornithological values and is home to protected species, such as the little bustard, Tetrax tetrax, the San Antón frog, Hyla arborea or the bats Myotis myotis and Rhinolophus ferrumequinum.
